We are excited to be offering a 30-minute Pilates Mat class on Tuesday evenings during the month of April!
Beginner to advanced fitness levels will be accommodated.
The class will be taught by Power Pilates certified instructor, Lois Whitman.
Lois has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has certifications/training in Personal Training, Group Exercise, Pilates, Yoga, Sports/Exercise Nutrition, Weight Loss Nutrition and Kettlebell.
What is Pilates Mat?
Pilates Mat is a training system, founded by Joseph Pilates, that uses specialized mat exercises to develop core and full body strength. The initial emphasis is on building a strong, supported, yet supple spine. Gradually the entire body is challenged to connect into your core strength, resulting in your whole body becoming stronger and more integrated.
